What this proves. That as of 5 November 2021 the Swiss criminal record contained no entry for Andreas Ludwig Kalker. The document carries a qualified electronic signature and a timestamp, and its authenticity can be checked at the address printed on it using the document ID.

What it does not prove — and this is stated so that no critic can say it was hidden. A Swiss extract covers the Swiss register. It does not certify the absence of foreign convictions, and convictions abroad are entered in the Swiss register only under specified conditions. To close the claim completely, extracts from Spain and Germany are required. They are requested in the data plan and will be published here when obtained.

Personal data. The extract contains the holder's date of birth and address. It is published by his own decision, because a certificate of this kind cannot be anonymised and remain a certificate.

Why it matters

«Convicted» is the single most damaging claim in circulation, and the one most often repeated without a source. A negative criminal record extract is an administrative document, cheap to obtain, and it converts the accusation from a matter of opinion into a matter of record. Where a claim of conviction is made about a specific country, that country's extract is what answers it — not a denial, and not this page.
